FIFA 17 is out tomorrow it’s receiving glowing reviews from the critics. Forbes says that it’s ‘easily the best and most complete FIFA ever’. Trusted Reviews wrote that it’s another strong entry in the iconic series, and one that looks to lay the groundwork for future titles by switching to a new engine’.
Apart from the stunning presentation and new and improved animations, the one new addition that has us excited for FIFA 17 is the introduction of ‘The Journey’. It’s a story mode where you take on the role of 17-year-old Alex Hunter and guide him along the way to footballing greatness.
You handle all aspects of his career – from playing in matches to conducting post-match interviews and deciding which teams to join. You can level the character up and upgrade specific skills, deciding whether you want Alex to be a speedy centre-forward or a winger capable of delivering that killer set piece strike.
With its impending release, we’ve rounded up all the best prices and deals for the Standard and Deluxe editions of the game. If you’re not totally fussed about Ultimate Team Gold Packs and Team of the Week loan players, you’ll be better off sticking with the standard edition.
